Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ of Mountain Ridge Chrysalis and Blue Ridge Emmaus,

We are growing as a community, in that many of our Chrysalis "kids" now have children of their own.  These folks have asked many times, if we could have a "Chrysalis Kids" time, during an event weekend.  I think it would be a wonderful blessing to give to those who want to come out and serve, but cannot find someone to watch the kids.  I realize not all of us are gifted in working with and or watching children, but out of all of our community, I know there is more than just one family who could help out in this area of service.  Please check your calendars and let's get this wonderful program started.  If we get enough folks on board we could even work out a smaller rotation and potentially even be able to offer it on Emmaus weekends as well.  

If you would be willing to take a two hour shift or more, on the next young men's Journey and Flight, March 23-25, 2012, that would be great.

We must have a minimum of two adults (16 and older) with background checks in order to cover a two hour period.  The more adults the better!  

The opportunities to serve are:

Saturday March 24, 2012
10am until 12 pm
12pm until 2 pm
2pm until 4 pm
4pm until 6 pm
8 pm until 10 pm

You would be required to get a background check from your local Sheriff's Department and have it sent to Mack Salley, at Mountain Ridge Chrysalis, PO Box 1437, Asheville, NC 28802 prior to the weekend events.
